Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Sylvester Risk Advisory Group provides practical compliance, operational, and risk guidance. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation.

Why did you start SRAG?

SRAG was founded because too many businesses don’t realize where they’re exposed until it becomes expensive. After years of working in compliance, financial crime, and risk, I saw how small gaps in policy, process, and oversight lead to major problems. Our goal is to help businesses identify risks early, strengthen weak areas, and move forward confidently.

What types of businesses do you work with?

We work with businesses handling sensitive information, payments, client records, or internal processes. This includes law firms, healthcare providers, senior living communities, consultants, accountants, coaches, real estate professionals, and other service-based businesses.

What is a Website Compliance Snapshot?

A Website Compliance Snapshot is a brief review identifying visible compliance gaps like missing privacy policies, weak disclosures, accessibility issues, or other legal/operational risks.

How do I know if my business has compliance gaps?

When was the last time you:

  • Checked if your website disclosures?
  • Reviewed your data handling processes?
  • Tested internal controls for consistency?
  • Updated client-facing documentation?
  • Verified your internal documents on data handling?

Most businesses aren’t aware of gaps until something goes wrong. Common signs include outdated policies, inconsistent processes, handling sensitive client data, online payments, or missing documentation.

Do you only work with regulated industries?

No. While experienced with regulated sectors, many non-regulated businesses face privacy, data handling, operational, and reputational risks.

What types of issues do you help identify?

  • Missing or outdated privacy policies
  • Weak internal controls
  • Inconsistent processes
  • Data handling concerns
  • Documentation gaps
  • Operational risks
  • Policy/governance weaknesses
  • Compliance training

Do you provide legal advice?

No. We provide practical compliance, risk, and operational guidance—not legal advice or representation.

What happens after I submit a consultation request?

We review your information and respond within 1-2 business days to discuss needs and next steps.

What payment methods do you accept?

Secure payments via PayPal invoice, credit/debit card, and standard digital methods. Details provided at engagement.

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are generally not offered once work begins due to the advisory service nature. We ensure clarity before starting.

How will I receive my invoice?

Electronically via PayPal with detailed services, amount, and due date, with email confirmation from SRAG.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes—ongoing advisory for businesses growing, expanding services, or taking on new compliance responsibilities.

Can you review my current policies and procedures?

Yes—we review existing policies, processes, and documentation to identify gaps and improvements.

Do I need a full-time compliance officer?

Not always. Many small businesses benefit from external guidance, periodic reviews, and ongoing support.

How long does a review usually take?

Smaller reviews like Website Compliance Snapshot: a few hours. Larger engagements: varies by scope.

Why would a church need compliance support?

Churches handle donations, member records, volunteers, children’s ministries, and online giving—creating privacy, operational, and reputational risks.

Can I start with a smaller service?

Yes—most clients begin with Website Compliance Snapshot before deeper engagement.

Will I receive a written agreement?

Yes—all services outlined in a clear agreement covering scope, deliverables, timeline, and payment before work begins

What is your pricing structure?

SRAG offers clear, flat-fee pricing. Pricing provided upfront based on scope. Website Compliance Snapshot is free for qualified businesses.

How quickly can you start?

We respond to inquiries within 1-2 business days of confirmed payment and can begin most reviews within one week of agreement.

Is my information kept confidential?

Website inquiries remain confidential. Formal engagements include clear protections. Do not submit sensitive data through public forms (see Disclaimer).
